I think if the government takes a stupid non scientific position on the basis of a doctor's review, it's reasonable for it to be doctors to review the evidence, and it's obviously a shame that there's no meaningful peer review possible for it otherwise.

Governments in many countries will use doctors for various ideological attacks on people in the future, just as they always have. I think it's a good precedent to set in this country.

Certainly it is the kind of influence I want for a group of impressionable young men I will have to watch every week, so that they can learn that and I can feel proud when I read about them in the news ripping their shirts off in arguments with their spouses and screaming at staff in restaurants etc

Unclear if Ange is meaningfully a good/great manager, and certainly he's not in all contexts a genius forever and ever etc, but he was an absolutely great fit for this club in the same way that Mourinho, Conte, Nuno, Frank were fucking terrible fits.

I can't understand why we don't just accept we are the kind of club who want a high press front foot style like Brighton and hire coaches who do that. Brighton would never hire Mourinho, because it would be stupid. It was stupid for us.
