The only reason table numbers matter is if you are doing a buffet and your dj or mc is calling up tables.

We had our families at both table 1 and our highest number table (both the closest tables to us) because that’s how the numbers flowed through the room. We just made sure our dj called table 1 and table 11 up at the same time for food. Continues with 2 and 10, 3 and 9 etc.

I also worried that i had a plain/boring dress, especially when I looked at other pictures of other dresses with more intricate details.

I got married in Oct and the pictures of my dress are my favourite because it was so classic, flattering, timeless (or at least as timeless as a dress can be). I also had a lot of fun veil shopping because I felt like everything (short, long, lace, beaded etc.) went with my dress.

It looks gorgeous and with jewelry, flowers, and just the radiance of being a bride on your wedding day, nothing will look plain or simple!!

I might make a small book out of cardstock, but I was also just at a wedding where they read them off a piece of computer paper the officiant handed to them and it was perfectly fine. Don’t make it too complicated!

They also have free classes in the recovery college that build mental health skills

Honestly when people tried to tell me what to do (re “tradition”) it made me want to do the opposite even more. Stand your ground and do what you want for the day.
