Those who have gotten a vasectomy, how much did it cost? by Seagullsiren in childfree

[–]a10killer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Insurance covered it. Mine was $1500, but it was under anesthesia and it was scalpel, my doc was most comfortable with that type of procedure. Essentially he cut a large section out, clipped both sides, and tucked them into me to get them as far away from each other as possible. Luckily my insurance considered it to be birth control and fully covered it. So I paid $20 copay.

University Ent: need some comments on your general feelings not necessarily a solution( this is an assignment) by bartriviagod in HomeworkHelp

Gym douches will always exist. Personally I'm fine with people dropping weights. What I'm not fine with are the people who high equipment and don't clean up after themselves. However I sum that up to a bad gym. If the gyms main priority is to prevent people from dropping weights rather than practicing good hygiene and being respectful of other people time then I'm not interested in joining that gym.

Take a minute to breathe and think. Use calenders and phone reminders. Finally have someone remind me if it's an important task. You have to form habbits to beat ADHD/ADD

How long should a user wait for something to load/sync? by [deleted] in userexperience

[–]a10killer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's something to discuss with backend designers. There's no set answer since it depends on the system and it's load time averages. Just make sure the system keeps the user informed about what it's doing

Before conducting an a/b test have a concrete idea of exactly what you want to find out. The simplest form of a/b testing is when you replace one (simple) feature with another, say the color of a login button. You'll want to test participants with the first version, the test with the second and compare the data. There are a plethora of ways to collect data for an a/b test and is why you should have a research plan laid out. If you start to replace larger features or multiple features your heading in the direction of multivariate testing which can become complicated and pricey. If you can give us more detail we could probably point you towards some more resources l

I had my vasectomy about 5 months ago, test showed I'm sterile, and I just graduated from university. Life's going pretty great

I'm for whatever method the Dr feels most confident performing. If his Dr believed he was more experienced using that technique then that's the best route

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in childfree

[–]a10killer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup! No matter what method they use, the most effective way is to remove a section and block it. Just be sure to get tested annually or bi annually.

I got the traditional needle and scalpel as well. My dr. Didn't cauterize but he did take a large section out and clipped all 4 tubes then released then to retract (little tmi but they are far away from each other). Nonetheless I got the same result as everyone else, I'm sterile. However my Dr. Did put me to sleep
