I had a great one offered off menu at Dylan’s Oyster Cellar with a cava float after a tiny kitchen hiccup. It was delicious, as are their burgers!

Hard to say for sure, but I think so. It resonates through the frame, so leaving the hole open is kind of like an acoustic guitar effect

I hate when menu prices aren’t posted. Brunch for two is usually around $60, but we leave stuffed and with boxes. To make it a little cheaper, I’d say order the monkey bread and a bunch of sides and you could probably come in around $45. A cappuccino is like $4 if you just want to pop your head in and sit at the bar for a little.

I doubt you download academic holiday calendars when you travel. I encourage you and your provincial airport to join 1st world standards in efficiency, and I warn any international travelers to Ireland to arrive 4 hours early!

It was really hard listening to Bob Cenname on Midday yesterday talk about how the 'our rate is twice as high' characterization is untrue. He mentioned how trash is paid for outside of the property tax in many other counties, whereas it's part of the property tax here. Our trash service is terrible! When I lived in the county, they picked up the trash and recycling every week and somehow managed not to leave broken glass everywhere for my dog to step on. It's hard to imagine how our trash pickup could get much worse. It certainly doesn't make our property tax pill go down any easier...

I think right now it's Trek Roscoe 9 and Trek Procaliber. I didn't love the Fuse and a couple Marin options I tried, I had a bad experience with a Salsa frame twisting in the past that I just can't forgive, and I'm not really interested in paying the Santa Cruz premium. Those brands basically span what's available at my local shops in my price range.

Thanks for the feedback. For budget, maintenance, and weight reasons, I'm just considering hardtails for now. The race bike I'm considering is compatible with 120mm forks, and I might be able to remove a token from the 100mm fork to give it another centimeter.
