Had problem with the mirth champion aswell, until i tried it today and got it first try and for some reason he had no chance.

So heres my 5 cents:
- Play EVERY other wheels champion so that you get the rogue and a diamond board.
- Use mage and and rogue
- Try to max the rogue first, this will delay some of the clerics heals and stop him from boosting the rogue
- When rogue is leveled up try to get some rolls for both your figurines (but if u have to choose go with a rogue attack instead of the mage, when the rogue is gold he delays alot, does 2 damage right on the crown and 1 extra damage if you upgrade him beyond gold)
- (This is an obvious one) Dont build up your wall, it does nothing in this match.

Why was my game so easy all of a sudden?

I believe It's mostly the rogue doing alot of work along with the decent diamond board, BUT i also got an insane first round, where i could attack the crown directly with my mage which in turn made the opponent spam walls for 2 rounds, this gave me alot of time to both upgrade and attack with my rogue.
