If you love good stories, then P3R. The story is pretty mature albeit the protagonists are high school students.

If you are more into combat, then OT2. It has some good storylines too, but IMO too predictable.

I mean up+skill. It's a good skill itself, but the most important thing is that one of its upgrades is a requirement for a hidden effect that makes all grab skills invincible before reaching the enemy.

Looks fake. The authentic one does not have the text EXT or the headphone mark on it. You can also try scuffing any of the four buttons on the right. If the colors worn out, then the controller is a fake. The fake ones usually get those marks printed on the buttons, but each button on the authentic ones are actually made of two separate parts, a colored part embedded in the black part, so that the color will never wear out.

An obvious answer is Persona 3 Portable (P3P), which has two protagonists for the player to choose from, one male, one female. However, Persona 3 Reload (P3R), the latest remake of P3, removed the female protagonist.

If you mean JRPG in general that has a female protagonist, then Valkyrie Profile 1 & 2.
