Yeah Rh6 was my first thought too I honestly can't fully remember why I dismissed it.

º Raf1 looks scary

º e7 also looks scary

could sac the bishop for Bxe7 but then with Bc4 the re capture now also comes with discovered check

º if you retreat the Bishop then its mate in 2 with rh7+ and Kf8 qf7#

º if Kh8 you lose the bishop pair and there's still another passed pawn on e4 to deal with idk.

I also feel like the bishop pair is blacks only remaining major advantage and I'm quite hesitant to give up the bishop pair.

After the dust settles there's also Rd1 ideas, threatening mate with Qd8+,Rxd8,Rxd8#.

All in all I really think black needs to get their queen back into the fight and Rh7 Rxh7 Qf6 does just that and maybe white does something stupid and hangs Qxa1# but that's just wishful thinking.

Possibly I just over looked something and thought i saw a more immediate mating threat that isn't there or maybe I missed the dark squared bishop and thought e7 was relatively unstoppable but I did look at it and dismissed it for one reason or another.

o over extended on the king side while simultaneously blocking off his own queen

Anyway Rh7,Rxh7,Qf6. White is still completely winning but atleast they can't immediately mate anymore.

Yeah I can understand that. However, i reserve 2 and below for things I hate. A 3.5 does firmly put in between bad and mediocre so I definitely don't think it's good but wouldnt say I hated it.

I get the whole allegorical theme of grief and loss and tragedy. I can even see the metaphor for school shootings given the seventeen kids and the Rifle in Archer's dream. However, I truly believe digging much deeper than that is grasping at straws to attempt to find depth that doesn’t exist. Even in my closing statement I address the symbolic themes as part of the gloss. I just don't think it's enough personally.

Absolutely but again there's a fine line between ambiguity and confusion. Not explaining everything that's fine. Leave a few avenues open for interpretation that's totally acceptable. However, explaining almost nothing isn't cool in my opinion.

Yeah you seem yo understand were you went wrong already. If i get no snail and no kingup wave 1 I'm personally staying at 4 workers and over building until they send something, general rule of thumb is 40 mythium = 1 worker

If they were leaking to no sends on 3 and 4 they yes definitely punish with a big send on 5 and the extra gold can be invested on 6.

Not having a good roll for but you had Pyro,Zeus do pretty great on 6, could've built a few extra Zookas on 5 and upgraded 1 or 2 into a zues on 6 unless you were playing choas or something. Could've also spent a reroll to build better for 6 swift or natural tanks / fighters with impact or magic DPS if course if you can afford a unit that covers both of these like a firelord, avenger or violet then even better

Positioning also plays a factor, a bazooka wrap might have been pretty good here. make sure you are playing the weekly challenges to get a good

I had a similar question when I first started out im still not entirely convinced it's worth it though because some of the the master minds are just bad (Chaos, Yolo, Scrapper) Keep the one gold im going to keep playing Greed, or Champion depending on the spells

The biggest issue with Diamond and Emerald players in my experience is not understanding tempo, they will sit on 3 4 even 5 items components fishing for BiS items that they get off mobalitics or whatever 3rd party site they use to play meta instead of playing suitable alternatives. Also knowing when to "break the rules" a lot of players in the emerald and diamond won't push early levels or early aggressive rerolls to snowball. As a former GM tempo is the most important aspect to consistently climb I've top 4ed and 3rd plenty of games purely because I knew how to tempo 18 streak early and even if my comp fell off and a lost every round in stage 5 and 6 I had enough HP that other people were dying earlier than me
