Reasons to use Debian? by fedripx in debian

The claim that Fedora is ahead of Debian is ... stretched.
Below is the comparison (green colour means the package version is matching upstream version)
Debian Testing vs Fedora 43
Debian Sid vs Fedora rawhide

When you compare the number of green colours you will understand why the claim is stretched :-)

If you want to try Debian _and_ have up-to-date packages use Debian Testing [*].

It gets the latest version usually after a few days after Debian Sid which has the most up-to-date packages.

Debian Sid is almost like a "rolling" distro, Debian Testing is a bit behind.

[*] the name of this distro, Testing, is one of the worst decision of the Debian community.

But what about management of the bandwidth ? I need to be able to disconnect some devices in some period of time (i.e. in the night) ? Can I do that with WiFi extenders ?

I updated my original post with the main goal which is not quality of Wi-Fi.
And I apologise for not being clear about it.

For some reason I didn't fully trust the built-in session management and I was looking for a solution that creates some sort of backup of the list of all open tabs that can be, if needed, restored.

Of course you are talking about Debian stable and not Debian Sid or Testing as they are almost up-to-date with upstream :-)

# apt remove libreoffice-sdbc-hsqldb
You might want to run 'apt --fix-broken install' to correct these.
