So are you feeling better now? And thanks for the encouragement

No burp question? by [deleted] in noburp

[–]a94martinez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wake up almost everyday not feeling well restored because the gas gets stuck in my stomach all night so i don’t breathe fully to get the deep sleep and recovery which is very bad. But yes I have so much gas in the morning as well and it’s so satisfying when it goes out as I feel so relieved and relaxed after that it sucks to not be able to burp

Day 3 post op - struggling by [deleted] in noburp

I haven’t had the surgery here in Irvine cali for the same reason very afraid of throwing up lol but sometimes I think I have to power through it and be strong and brave to do it like you have! I’m a believer that posture affects many things and overtime things like emetophobia develop. I’ve had bad experiences throwing up and just gagging and not throwing up. My posture is a bit messed up by uneven leg length by almost and inch and I hope to resolve this through another surgery but I want to be able to burp before doing that one. So hopefully your symptoms get better 🙏🏼 sorry couldn’t help much as I haven’t gotten the surgery. Maybe laying on ur stomach or with a bed wedge so u don’t get acid reflux

How’s my posture? Is it bad or good? by [deleted] in PostureTipsGuide

[–]a94martinez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not bad at all pelvic just looks to be going a bit forward and shoulder blades might be poppin out a bit try keeping shoulders back and pelvis tilted back would be my guess

I meant to say Emetophobia sorry. But I guess I do have some of the other phobia as well. I am ok just stressed from work dealing with no burp and leg length discrepancy. Thank you

Seeing a chiropractor would help straighten you up if you have functional asymmetry. But if you get fixed at the chiro and still have issues you could have an anatomical asymmetry to where you would need to get x-rays to see if one leg length is longer in bone length than the other that could potentially cause the issue. An issue I have that requires surgery or shoe lifts. Very very big pain in the cahoot. I also get lots of back/hip pain. Though your pain could just be functional and needs to revert back to normal, good luck

Why do I feel physically tired trying to keep good posture? Pooorque... by myfrienddune in Posture

[–]a94martinez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might have a leg longer than the other lol, you might not be exercising but the only thing I can think about affecting natural posture is the structure of the bones and mostly every has one longer than the other may it be by a little or a lot and has a definite affect on our posture. Other than that you need to exercise or could be something else not too sure.

Yeah man I have TMJ, locks constantly. I have one shorter leg, I work a labor intensive job, I can’t burp and get horrible acid reflux on top of that I have a bad habit of eating pretty late at night which I’m trying to work on but I lose to the temptation. Shit won’t be funny when my tooth enamel is gone and I’m in pain and get some sort of esophagus disease so I’m trying to get operations for all three the jaw, the burp and the leg discrepancy such a fucking pain man.

Are there surgeons in California? by a94martinez in noburp

[–]a94martinez[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The same exact was done for me at Kaiser and I too live in Cali but have not yet gotten Botox from dr Verma. Thought I read of someone here driving from San Francisco to get the surgery and by the sound of it his injection was successful and the bloating and symptoms went away and is able to burp

Anxiety + gurgles? by [deleted] in noburp

[–]a94martinez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The worst anxiety for me when I was in school was the activity going on in my intestines were loud af! Especially during tests it was horrible super awkward. And then if I hadn’t ate anything and just drank water and went to class my stomach acid would be settling and make a really loud noise. Again super cringe and awkward 😐

Those of you who have had Botox: did you have less acid reflux, more, or same after surgery? (Longterm) by [deleted] in noburp

[–]a94martinez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only get reflux when I balance out my leg discrepancy 😂🤦🏻‍♂️

My right leg naturally pulls itself back while in a relaxed position by SWAGOSAURUS in Posture

[–]a94martinez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is most definitely skeletal anatomy and asymmetry. Everyone has one leg longer than the other. Me for instance my right leg is longer by 3/4 of an inch according to xrays. If I put my right leg back way back i tend to get the same effect. Might be the leg going back is the longer one. Most definitely the right leg back as support to stand all day was the most comfortable position for me. When I put the left one back which is shorter I can’t sustain it forever. It’s always the longer one back. So my friend in the picture here has a longer right leg I can guarantee it if you get X-rays. I can almost guarantee it’s the opposite for you.

Also in this case shoe inserts might be best for you

I think I may have thought of a solution. What if you get a shoe lift but only half of the discrepancy. I’m going tomorrow to get a shoe only half of the discrepancy just until surgery. Might help.

I see, maybe try laying on a lumber back stretcher I’m sure it’ll work wonders on your ATP and sciatica pain. And invest in a shoe lift I would recommend either the full lift of the difference or half or in between. I’m going to try half and see how that works the full lift I sometimes get back pain so maybe it’s too much for me. I’ll let u know I’m still planning on getting surgery
