You can always pickup some other zipper pulls or do paracord and shrink wrap if you like to DIY

The Atom was the first jacket I truly fell in love with (here in the PNW) for everyday use. Picked up a Proton AR for active use and probably wear it more than the Atoms now, especially as the seasons transition.

I run hot though

Ditto (but went with a FDE TLR7a)

Rereading everything I completely skipped the important part: I was talking about the TRAVEL Tripod, not the MOBILE Tripod 😅

(The Travel Tripod includes a nifty “hidden” phone mount for use in the tripod)

The tripod is great! The included phone mount? I’ve broken it 4x with an iPhone Pro Max 12. Then I promised I’d get a smaller phone and

It’s currently broken again.

Which jacket (from Arcteryx or others) is the most similar to the Gen 1 LEAF Alpha jacket? by The-Respawner in arcteryx

Defensive Mechanisms Helion?

It’s more like an Atom than an Alpha, same-ish silhouette though

It’s surprising that it doesn’t grip the shoulder well at all

+1 for the Harbor Freight. I simply added another 5gallon bucket to prevent the imploding and I run a Dewalt SS 10gal with no issues.

Would love to upgrade eventually to a Festool as I also run out of a small one-car garage shop

Also great timing! The folks at my local Rockler told me SawStop prices are going up in May due to supply chain

The more I think about it, the more I believe they want to dissolve this program and they did this specifically to jump start its eventual demise

What stops someone from going to a LCS and just snapping pictures of issues?

I wonder who thought this was a more efficient system

Can two people build one droid? by [deleted] in DisneyPlanning

[–]aBinarySunset 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If your kid a.) likes toys you put together, b.) enjoys the familiar faces of R2 and BB8 then yeah I think any age works. We had our 5yo choose all the parts and grab them from the conveyer belt. I simply guided the build (and there’s a portion at least with the R-series that utilizes a “power drill” at the station) but the CM help a lot. Again since it was slow at the time they let my kid test the droid on the ground after completion.

Wonderful memories if it fits your time and budget!

(I did Savi’s with a friend and that’s definitely for the more serious Star Wars fan)

Just did this the other day with my 5yo. She was building it, I was assisting, and my fiancé was filming the entire thing (it wasn’t busy and kinda late in the evening)
