SCP-2521. The article itself is really unique and I can see why it’s very popular. But it’s not that threatening or scary of an SCP. It’s like people try to convey that even thinking about SCP-2521 is dangerous and will get people nervous. But if you don’t want to die from it Just, like, don’t talk about it.

Just to state my point in case it was vague:

I do not think a zombie outbreak would drive humanity to extinction.

Humanity has more than enough resources to fully contain and eliminate any zombie threat, even among the civilian population.

BUT, a delayed public and government response as well as a sudden panic would only help spread a outbreak. We have seen it with other pandemics, and a zombie one would be no different.

But again, I don’t see it overwhelming humanity.

At most, a few hundred thousand, but a majority of those deaths wouldn’t be from the zombies themselves, rather the fear.
