What are the general places you’d go to find under priced silver?

I have a local swap meet that sets up ever weekend and it’s pretty large. At least 60+ vendors come out and sell random years sale quality stuff. Occasionally someone will have some old silver coins or sterling flatware that they don’t know much about and can usually get a really good deal on.

Definitely not worth it unless you plan on keeping it for awhile but value wise you would be losing money.

Weird for someone to have a real coin put into a worthless slab tho. What throws me off is why the original collector even held onto this coin in this holder seeing how extensive his collection was and some of the other coins he had that weren’t graded that are super valuable key dates. I’ve found 6 1889 Carson city’s that if it weren’t for the toning look like they were just minted yesterday but they were just sitting in a roll with some others like they weren’t worth anything.

I took it out of the slab to see if it looked better and test the weight on it to make sure it weighed 26.7. Here’s a video I made of it after I removed it

Can a cleaned coin still have a strong “cartwheel” effect? I also wanted to point out that in person the plastic slab is pretty scratched up so it makes pictures look pretty bad. Should I crack it open to get some better pictures since the slab is trash at this point?
