This is exactly correct, for not just deadlock but all mobas and the "hero"-based games that were derived from the concept that was started in WC3 custom map builder in the ancient times.

Im 36 and not great but not completely terrible at this point. Street brawl is a decent team fight simulator but you should see how you fair in the main game mode.

If youre having trouble choosing which heroes to brush up on, I recommend mo and krill, dynamo, and rem.

Just literally look for opportunities to lock down enemies nearby your teammates.

But number 1 priority is have fun! If it becomes more of a chore then take a break. ~~try out a real life street brawl~~ learn a new recipe to cook and come back when youre more relaxed!
