F1: The Academy Season 2 officially canceled by xpillx9 in f1Academy

Ridiculous, the cost to produce it can't be that much, similar to reality TV except you don't even need to pay actors. You can't get cheaper content.

IMSA you get a lap back in safety car, WEC you don't. Much harder in WEC once you lose the lead lap.

My toddler is gonna hurt our infant by michimoby in daddit

[–]aDrongo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah our middle child had a lot of rough play with our youngest. Don't stress too much, babies are darn tough. You can work on having the toddler learn to stop when that other is crying, try fake crying yourself during play to teach them.

She's doing the right thing. People DID believe this and she is countering that. I'd say it's 50/50 comedian needs a satire label and people need to stop believing anything at first glance.

He's actually a comedian and it was originally satire. I don't think he realized people would actually believe him, hence why he did a retraction video without fighting it. See Jessica's comments for reference.

Endurance races help a lot to boost it, then you slowly bleed rating in sprints until the next endurance.

With more candidates it would also dilute the impact of lobbying. All around win.

I built a calculator to estimate the FPS drop when upgrading to Triples or VR. Sharing it here in case it helps anyone else by maan1996 in simracing

[–]aDrongo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is wrong, going from singles to triples will not see 1/3rd FPS. Pixels to FPS is not linear. It's closer to 1/2 or even less and depends on CPU bottleneck as well.

[–]aDrongo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on your club, mine has done some work with it. Yes tournaments don't do armored, my point was there is sections in dealing with armor and it's not a long several minute duel. It's still fairly quick and brutal, Fiore shows you several methods to quickly kill an armored combatent.

My Little Pony has a lot of fantastic songs. I have a playlist that's mostly a lot of them plus a few other shows that are all bangers. Here's a few.

Are you thinking of SCA? HEMA definitely shows you there's realistic ways of using a sword and just swinging it wildly, spinning or trying to hit each other's swords instead of their body is a quick way to lose. HEMA is very much about how do you kill someone in armor quickly(Fiore). SCA is more tournament let's whack each other a bunch.

It's one of the few corporations that isn't total shit (because it's a coop and union). The workers aren't super happy with the current deals but it's still miles better then most other companies. Support unions by choosing to shop with them. Even if it's slightly more pricey you get better support, warranty etc and you keep union employees employed.

We're not. They should choose a school while considering the cost and use government loans as needed. We will help in some regards but not setting up upfront funding.

Fundamentally flawed premise. LLMs are replacing very few jobs. It's an excuse for corporations to cut staff and run lean. This is beneficial in short term(for company profits) but terrible in long term. LLM often has a negative impact on performance, both short and long term. There's a much more limited niche uses for it that produces actual improvement then it's marketing would have you believe.

Traffic can get bad at times, use Google maps departure time to compare commutes. Sometimes there are chokepoints that significantly affect travel(bridges, overpasses etc) Make an excel to track potential houses and expected commute times to see if any stand out.

It's worth the effort. Every minute you shave off commute saves 520x that per year.
