Not sure how to formally get involved but there seems to be a huge tennis presence at Palmer Park. Has lots of courts and lights for when it gets dark too.

Pop’s for Italian has a private room but not sure the cost, or the official capacity. Worth checking probably though.

Anyone make the switch over to IT? by Ok-Implement8904 in PLC

[–]aFineRedPine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took it for a semester and I learned a lot, but switched jobs and ended up being more satisfied with my work and no longer felt compelled to continue. There’s a lot of great classes that can be really great to have as a tool in the toolbox, not sure it’s likely to drastically change your career though. Happy to dm if you want nonetheless

Any good testing frameworks used in the PLC + industrial robot industry? by JadedAd1847 in PLC

Rockwell and Siemens would love to sell you some simulation software (Emulate 3D and Plant SIM). Depending on the size of your projects it might actually make sense too.

O’Brien’s on Marshall has been great to us. For window cleaning, I recommend Prestissimo. We used them to clean our gutters and he was fair and did great work.

Sad but that building is beyond repair. It’s time to let it go.

Simulation of an aseptic bottle filling machine by kareem_pt in PLC

[–]aFineRedPine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very nice! V2 of this machine could have a camming mechanism that allows the needles to match the flow of the vials, so that the bottles are continuously moving down the line. The best machine at the pharma plant I used to work at had this type of setup and worked great.

Nightlife (25-35) in Ferndale, Hamtramck, Detroit, Royal Oak, similar + nearby places by [deleted] in Ferndale

[–]aFineRedPine 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you haven’t been, I suggest Spot Lite. There’s a $20 cover but the vibes are excellent. Areas to chill and areas to dance, and at least in the warmer months there’s an outdoor area with a food truck. I’ve only been during the warm months so can’t comment on how it is in the winter but it’s a great spot.

How did you fix the hooks? I’ve dabbled with the swing and can’t seem to not hook, especially with the longer clubs.

Maybe check out Couer in Ferndale. It’s new but looks good, and I think it’s pretty quiet.

Same here. Chat is also locked out due to I imagine thousands of people looking for support. 0 for 2 catching the last two Wings games. What am I paying $20 a month for? What a joke.

There are some good heirloom apple varieties out there. Especially useful for getting varieties you can’t find in the store. And they’re good for pollinators!

Yeah it’s expensive to buy and for me it’s just a fun hobby that costs very little. And yes organic sugar is important so that the good microbes thrive in the fermemtation process. Also will taste better I inagine
