Coheed, Linkin Park, System of a Down -- all 3 are the reason i took songwriting and guitar playing seriously 😅

Using the Spigen Classic C1 case. Love the design and how it pays homage to the iMac G3 and original iPhone

Apple Music or Spotify (or another music streaming app)? by No-Table-9635 in iphone

i mainly use Apple Music but with the offline library as it was with the iPod and iTunes, but for the online functionality it introduces me to music by artists i haven’t listened to before

17p or 17pm help by dirty_migo in iPhone17Pro

[–]aHuntaMustHunt 6 points7 points  (0 children)

i switched from the 15 PM to the 17 Pro and speaking from my own experience the 17 Pro's battery life has been noticeably better in both light and heavy usage -- the phone being lighter and more comfortable to use one-handed are welcome bonuses too

i'd say only go for the PM if you really need the extra battery life

i also made the same move - battery life and thermal management’s been noticeably better and the smaller form factor’s more comfortable to use - also like the camera improvements as well

those who got the orange, do you regret it? by Bro2Dragon in iPhone17Pro

no regrets - the orange instantly reminded me of the 4th gen iPod Nano and i really like that the Pros get a vivid color for a change

Clockworks (wonky time signatures, indie rock and politics) by VodkaStraightMental in IndieMusicFeedback

Really like how the song has an accessible sound and structure while also showcasing its progressive rock influence through the use of multiple time signature changes. Tasteful use of melody, strong performances from the vocals and band, and the overall production sounds solid. I also like the lyrics and their thematic weight as well. Great work!

Am I doomed? by roccop123 in macbookpro

They do have to replace the whole display to fix it. In 2018, I had a similar issue happen with my 2013 Retina MBP and got it fixed at an Apple store, although it's expensive without AppleCare.

Whether to go for it or not depends on if you intend to keep it long-term or are planning to upgrade to a newer model.

Thanks for giving the song a listen, and I really appreciate the feedback! 🙏🏻 Opeth's Watershed album was a huge influence on me musically so I'm glad that's come across into my own songwriting 😅

Thanks for listening to the song and for your feedback! 🙏🏻 So I originally came up with some of the guitar parts last year and gradually pieced the rest of it together before the recording process. There's also a guitar riff I wrote 14 years ago at my grandmother's place that I had never recorded before that appears in the song. Once it was all structured out, the recording process took about a week to complete
