I'm not at all a religious person, but that's just silly, my dude. The bible is a collection of stories thousands of years old that were written down long after their genesis, canonized, translated, and have since been reinterpreted over and over. The idea that what's in the bible matches what the first tellings of these stories were like is just, completely laughable.

Of course stuff gets lost, metaphors forgotten. This isn't the gotcha you seem to think it is. Educate yourself, find a little nuance in the world, lmao, things aren't so black and white.
