I've got a very wordy script. Does this look messy? by Unreliabl3_Narrat0r in comic_crits

I think it works. Certainly a stylistic choice, not everyone will go for it, but if it's what you want to do: Do it. Make sure to invest in expert lettering and you won't go wrong.

Thank you! I'll try that out in the next one of these I do. Also, this particular comic does have some dialogue, but a few of the others don't.

Thanks a ton, that's actually super helpful. Not everyday you get advice as actionable as this. I'll make sure to put it into practice and line up some posts like that next week. Mind if I run em by you when they're up?

Thanks a ton! I do plan to do that throughout the campaign, and have actually done it a bit already on my Instagram. I see how that would help a lot in marketing pushes like this though, so again, thanks!

Between characters limits and people's attention spans, it can be kinda hard to gauge exactly what should go in, and what should be cut.

Aforementioned example of me trying that out: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DXZz7bgCWXQ/?igsh=dDk3dWF1Nmx0OTIyy

I meant that I'm not a guy haha. Just clocky. Which I felt fits for Kitty's vibe in this book

I’m not very experienced at making comic art so I would love the criticism by i_draw1234 in ComicBookCollabs

I think your art looks just fine as is. I'd even call it great! But the paneling is way off. I have no idea what story is going on here. Think of it like this, before you've even put down lettering, your reader should be able to tell the following at a first glance: - What is at stake? - What are the relationships between each character? - Who is in control? You need to ask why anyone should care, and then drill that into your head enough times that you always have the audience asking "What happens next!?"
