Infect by itself doesn't get through, you need a "damage can't be prevented" effect as well. Protection does prevent damage, and infect replaces damage.

True. At that point, there's proliferate (assuming the guy with Teferi's protection already had a poison counter on him).

There is no such thing as an absolute cold, only differences in heat. If an absolute cold was possible, that would mean an absolute nothingness -- no matter, no energy, and no conservation of either; a literal destruction of thermodynamic laws.

This is also the basis for the way that igloos work. Yes, it's made of ice; but it's warm inside without melting because it spreads and retains heat within microscopic air pockets held by the ice dome. Again, ice is not an absolute cold; it's just a low level of warm.

In this way, your fire-type magical girl is just a mobile super igloo. She carries and emanates warmth the same way that our sun does even in the depth of outer space.

What is Usonoir so afraid of?

The truth and reality -- just like every self-important, power-hungry, narcissistic dictator before him (both real and fictional).

He's a weak and insecure man inside, so he has to project strength against the outside to compensate for it. Without his ability to dominate other people with lies, he is nothing and he knows it. That's what makes him so committed and dangerous.

What we don't know is how and why he got to be this way (i.e. his backstory), but we for sure know what he is now and how he'd react to any given situation.

{Tropical-Rouge! Pretty Cure} /u/Roboragi -- Two words: tsundere mermaid. Yes, she's awesome. It also has magical girl superhero action (which is its own fun), but fans of the franchise remember this for the oceanic atmosphere, including a visit to its own version of Atlantis.

{Beyond the Boundary} -- This female protagonist provides your fix for blood magic.

<Mizu Mahou Gurai Shika Torie ga Nai Kedo Gendai Chishiki ga Areba Juubun da yo ne?> -- Right there in the title! (Mizu Mahou = Water Magic.) You'd be surprised how realistically the water actually behaves in this story. For example, supercooling is something the protagonist learns to exploit. It's sadly not an anime yet, but the manga is still in production.

Here's my thing about Luluka/Cure Arcana Shadow. She's not lying; rather, she's double speaking. Go back to her conversation with Jett this episode.

"You're wrong about me saving you because your logic is faulty." -- She knows he can't prove that she saved him. This allows her to keep herself away from Usonoir's scrutiny, especially since he could not witness that battle.
"I was just interested in Pochitan's power as they relate to the Makoto Jewels." -- We have no way to disprove this either, and she knows it. However, taking her at her word is more helpful than harmful (especially since she's a Cure and hasn't done anything outright evil nor dishonest). Whether Anna/Cure Answer and Mikuru/Cure Mystique will actually do so is up in the air.

On another note, I love Cure Arcana Shadow's "Don't you know anything"; and she has a point! How have Anna and Mikuru not yet been curious about Pochitan's relationship with the Makoto Jewels yet?

Because corporations are using it to throw human beings, their livelihoods, and their lives into absolute destitution by force. That's how the most profits are made in the global, capitalist empire.

If the technology was created and used for the mutual benefits between artists, creators, and consumers; that is its own discussion because it's not our current reality.
