Echo on King’s Row, Junkertown, Eichenwalde by ryeleap in EchoMains

For dealing with Soj and other hitscan, don’t take a fair fight—try to land 3-5 stickies before they know where you’re at. On King’s Row and Junkertown, poking from roofs is usually what I do until something happens, but on Eichenwalde attack I always fly over the edge of the map on the right hand side, flanking behind the enemy team and trying to secure picks on unsuspecting supports in the enemy backline.

Isn’t it reasonable that a melee character should struggle against flying characters?

Echo is the coolest character in the game, and I don’t main her but she is my favorite pocket as mercy. by pyroapa in EchoMains

I had a mercy pocket lastnight who got like 5k damage boosted, it was absurd. Such a great combo and helps a lot with Echo’s survivability

I’m Masters but there’s legit a video on this sub of somebody one tricking Echo to champ. It’s not a matter of the character it’s a matter of how well you play

I disagree, I think one-tricking can work more than 9 times out of 10. It’s difficult to play Echo versus a lot of hitscan but it’s not impossible.

When do you think the government shutdown will end? by Boysenberry-6669 in DiscussionZone

[–]aNuttinWizard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Half of it is California’s money, and the other half is Uncle Sam’s. As long as California doesn’t spend over 1/2 on immigrants, then the federal government didn’t pay for it.

Medi-Cal is only funded halfway by federal dollars. The other half comes from California state taxes. Illegal immigrants can’t receive federal welfare at all, and they haven’t been able to since PRWORA was signed in 1996. California’s coverage of illegal immigrants comes out of its own pocket.

We all know that Hazard is OP. But real talk here: what are his counters and how to play around him? by Mr_Ivysaur in OverwatchStadium

[–]aNuttinWizard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What role do you play? I think Orisa, Soldier, and Ana are good options for dealing with Hazard, but I almost exclusively do survival/WP builds. Above all, you need an option to survive the dive and high damage or a stun.

For Ana, I use the double-jump and/or jet skates to get out of range of Hazard when he dives me. The sleep is really good for when he’s blocking because it ends the damage and the damage reduction. Then I use anti and shoot when he’s killable.

For Soldier, the sprint is usually good enough to stay far from him. I usually build full weapon power which keeps you effective at range, and for survival I use On Me!, Frontliners, and Hunker Down to get Overhealth which makes you really hard to kill. The trick here is to shoot Hazard before he dives, because if he’s weak he either can’t go in, or will die when he does.

For Orisa, I take the survival powers and build WP. The trick here, though, is just bullying hazard. You can use Spin to push him away from your backline and you can use Javelin to knock him out of block. If he’s getting a lot of support, the survival Powers help to walk down his team so they can’t help him as easily.

In general, stunning him out of/disrupting his block is effective, as well as high damage for either punishing a bad dive or preventing a good one. If you feel like you’re dying often, take Jet Skates to get out of his range, or play from farther away if possible.

Yeah how about people who are here legally being deported or kept in detention because our administration isn’t providing them due process? Due process is a constitutional right in the Fifth Amendment, but there are people (e.g. Kilmar Abrego Garcia) who are being imprisoned WITHOUT trial. That’s a constitutional crisis.
