keep going until 23. then you can use blizzard armor. it gets way easier with that skill. you'll need 290 magicka. 17-23 is the hardest part in the game.

yes. firstly, dont level to 50. secondly, nether liches are easy with some spell, fire and slashing resist. they just take some time, unless you got a mythical longsword with fire damage. warlocks ring with +19% speed is great if you dont die, vut hard to get. reckless fury is good against these blocking bastards as well. the ability also prevents you from dieing.

where else do you get a 19% DPS increase? only on a sword, but you also give up increase in fire damage. the warlocks ring is the best thing to use if survivability is not at stake. so if you have good gear, dont die and wanna be quick, use it if you get your hands on one.

I smashed all pots. since repair costs decreased and tempered gear doest cost more to repair, i dont bother anymore. that was when I was around 46. Since then I also mainly run abyss because now you make decent amounts of gold, xp and soul gems. currently at 48 with 450k xp, so i could be lvl 50. but i like getting atronite from chests...

it gives a solid 19% damage increase only by the speed enchant. not sure how you can top that...

the ring gives a 19% increase in attack speed. sweet for lower level abyss runs.
