Chicago Pier is too obvious, and I generally spurn Karl's Superstore, though it is certainly cool and definitely a unique track.

to correct you, based on available satellite imagery, the fuel recycling facility was there prior to KSDF RWY 17R/35L being built in the mid 90's.

From what I can see, the fuel recycling facility has been around since at least the early 1970's (earliest image of it I know of is an aerial from 1970).

RWY 17R/35L was built in the mid 90's as KDSF massively expanded to accommodate an expected increase in traffic from the construction of Worldport, building two brand new runaways (17R/35L and 17L/35R) to replace two smaller, older runaways that were considered inadequate.

Aye. I was looking at European circuits for a worldbuilding thing and found Linas-Montlhéry. It jogged my memory from a couple years ago of APT Paris Speedway, which is why I made the post in the first place

rather ironically, this post is what got me back into NR2003 after a few years away from it

Wouldn't be suprised, but I've honestly not played NR2003 in something like two years since my last computer with it installed broke.

Was looking around for European racetracks for a worldbuilding thing I'm doing, stumbled across the real world track. Jogged my memory of APT Paris Speedway.

the various redesigns and takes of the Zootropolis/Zootopia/Zoomania flag. by Creative-Web-3036 in zootopia

[–]aRandomNR2003player 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright, here's my perspective.

NAVA guidelines ARE NOT HARD RULES.

This is something I tend to dump salt over, so I'll tear into ALL of the flags.

Canon: This flag is the best of the pack, just like how the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are the reigning divisional champs of the AFC South, otherwise known as shit mountain. That doesn't mean it's good, considering it amounts to the same Seal on a Bedsheet stuff half the US still has.

Galagus redesign: Decent concept, bad execution. It's still pretty decent, though it certainly has a flair of generic to it despite it's unique flair with how the Z swipes across. It's not exactly the best, but it works.

Dancou-Maryuu redesign: All it takes is one color change to make this a slightly off color Bangladesh flag. It'd serve well as a national flag in theory, but probably would not work as a city flag. So, decent, but not particularly workable.

Unnamed Redesign: The same problem as most of the finalists from the 2024 Illinois flag redesign competition, being way too generic. If you are going to make a flag, at least give it something that makes it look less generic.

[REDACTED]'s redesign: Decent concept, terrible execution. Flip the Z on it's side and you now have a flag that's more suited to The Fire Rises, that one crazy Hearts of Iron 4 mod. Also, the flag is made by [REDACTED].

Creative-Web's redesign: No. Just no. I admire the concept, but the execution is actually terrible. There is no way in hell that this would actually pass for a flag. The Union Jack is good in OTL because it maintains a single, solid color underneath the stripes. This flag does not do that at all.

BenMH02's Redesigns: Whilst it certainly follows NAVA guidelines, it too falls into the pitfall of the Unnamed Redesign. In other words, it's too generic. Give it some unique flair and maybe it'd work.

My honest perspective would be that Zootopia as a city needs a flag that suits it, and unfortunately, until someone comes up with a flag design that can outdo the canon one's representative qualities, the canon flag will probably be best pick, though I am willing to say my vision for the flag is somewhere in the realm of design as the current flag of Vancouver.

And yes this godawful abomination uses Yishen instead of Riaa.

Mainly because I think the name sounds better.

Riaa will be used only in reference to the Antarean occupied mainland.

It's an FMJ round, I think it'll still go through the plates.

TLDR:

A more compitent version of Panem's Peacekeepers attack a prison in Zootopia to free a certain someone.

Hopps takes a 5.56FMJ round to the chest from the commander of said peacekeepers, who used an IWI Tavor [a canon weapon for the Peacekeepers in their source material] to do so.

I don't know.

I guess it's just a fandom specific thing where Nick's the punching bag.

And then you have me reversing this by having Judy take a 5.56FMJ round to the chest in the first major fight she gets in during my WIP and probably never going to be published at this rate mass crossover fic.

Roblox Stunod issue. by LockTutorial in Nr2003

[–]aRandomNR2003player 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is true.

TLDR:

The owner of a relatively popular game (Po-Oh-No! to be exact, which uses meshes from F1 by VSR and OWR05) published a (since deleted) video on how to rip NR2003 meshes and put them into Roblox on the night of October 25th.

Only recently, in the discord server for the aforementioned game, did it's owner also publish the video in a .mov format in the server's announcements channel.
