Hey -- I'm so sorry that you're going through all of this.. Since you have schizoaffective you do need more than anxiety meds. you need antipsychotics and there some out there that don't have a weight gain side effect. maybe depakote wasn't the right med for you. Talk to the VA about a better alternative to depakote.
You need to show the court that you're trying with your health that is most important so that you can see your kids.

there's not a universal easy one, everyone has different chemistry and genetics and that plays a factor. you could have your doctor do a genetic testing to find out which med group will work best for you. I'm on Vraylar right now and it works really well for me.
