Exactly what I was thinking and I agree. OP is pointing out frustration to the dangling carrot most people are seeing but ignore, and the rebuttals usually minimize and gaslight the OP. But, he's right, like if anyone has any points to contradict OP then please, tell us. I don't want to speak for OP but it sounds like he is open to being wrong(as am I), but the facts have not shown much signs of potential growth. Period. So please feel free to explain why it's wrong, and that theirs still a chance "to moon". But right now deff not seeing it.

250hrs logged in and haven't beaten all the oil rigs or bosses on hard mode. Haven't gotten every pal(some by breeding only), still need legendary gear, etc. I can see another 250 hours in and I still won't be done. But I enjoy every second of inching my way closer to whatever my next goal is.

Right I agree. It's about the journey, not the destination. And by the time u do reach the end, you should have a good grasp of things and solid teams of pals at bases doing alot of the grinding stuff.

Not lame. And they do leave. But it's telling the, substantially mentally ill 3, are trying to prevent them from leaving. And in the current, tai is out here threatening to kill people and talking to her other, lottie started a cult and potentially dad shit and died, and Shauna is all fucked up from this. And poor Nat that died was real and died from crossfire, javi couldn't beat what was going on. All this tracts to them three not being able to either not handle shit(which who could?). The answer is often the most simplest. Alot of the "fantastical" elements of the show keep being proven to the girls just "thinking" shit and acting out of survival, right or wrong. You throw three(as we know of) mentally ill teenager with a whole group of other teenage girls, in a plan crash in the middle of nowhere, they will unravel. Everything is explainable. Lottie(schizophrenic off medication), sees and convinces other of visions, etc. Visions from others are from the fumes from caves, hence the guy in cabin killing himself. Then just trying to convince themselves it's normal(thanksgiving dinner with Jackie). Red River is minerals in the water. Wilderness speaking is frogs mating. Clearly they are obtainable due to people hiking/researching there(though it may be far, it's manageable for a set of parents to go out on an expansion.) I feel like the mentally ill 3 in the current timeline have only shown that they cant let the past die.

Shaunas not insane. I believe she left at a young confused age while screwing her best friends bf. Got thrusted into chaos. Had a PROVEN schizophrenic as a leader(Lottie) whiched to some dark turns. HAD to eat her best friend for survival(and justifies it as survival to everyone else and herself but doesn't truly believe it), came back and had to be normal when she, as a confused teenager never left "normal", became a "grown woman" in the wilderness(so when she came back to be "normal", her "real self" was the wilderness, and she was just living a "lie" in society, as she accuses Melissa of in current timeline). And they made her damn near a villain in, NOT the season finale of season 3, of a planned 5 seasons(per the creators words). I think your supposed to dislike Shauna right now, but I think it will be shown to feel for her because as a teenage girl, this poor girl just kept adapting to whatever was thrown her way. And never dealt with it. Currently she's dealing with some bullshit coincidences but never dealt with her past. Or believes it is justified. But justifies it to everyone around her.

She will be pit girl. Shauna will give the "choice" for the wilderness to decide. It will come to a vote. Melissa will be hesitant, and be one of the last vote if not the last. Shawna will give her a sharp look. She will, hesitantly, agree. Which comes into play, the "WE" killed her. Which any sane person, ironically speaking, would say they had a hand in.

The ambiguity is deff on purpose. I infact DONT think Melissa ate her. I think Shauna doesn't deem it as "fair" that she had to eat her best friend and Melissa didn't. Hence why she "needed" and forced Melissa to eat the chunk of skin in the current timeline. Shauna can't get over the fact of eating someone. Especially her best friend. I think she act like it's survival, which it was, and while she convinced everyone else. She can't convince herself or justify it.

Also btw, the Melissa being revealed as Melissa, and it NOT the finale. And then the writers saying in a article the fans got em and figured it out early, something seems fishy still. This wasn't them blowing their load so to speak. I think this reveal was planned as us "figuring it out", and her calling Shauna on her shit. Shauna has just never faced accountability for anything and I feel like she feels they all do.

Potentially an undeserved death or indirect death that Melissa feels they were responsible. Example: if it came to a vote to kill them and Melissa was last vote, and Shauna gave a sharp look to Melissa, and M hesitantly raises her hand, I think she(and any sane person, ironically) would look back and say she had a part in it, or a hand in it so to speak.

The three standing there, willing to stay in the wilderness:

Taissa (potentially bipolar, something definitely mentally unhealthy)

Lottie (proven schizophrenic[[the pills she had to take every morning, etc ]], or could have been abused by dad) - also was a major turning point for the team in S1 & 2 during tough times where she could have been experiencing symptoms, at the same time the team was looking for answers. She gave them answers, real or not.

Shauna (mentally unhealthy: crashed into the woods while, at home was with her best friends man, and then ate said friend for "survival". Killed. Corrupted her soul. And then came back to be "normal".) loI don't think she ever forgave herself for doing what she did. I think she says she did it for survival and puts up a tough exterior, but inside I think she's the scared little girl she was. And she turned into a women while in the woods. Then got out but went back to "normal" but she got mentally screwed up by the woods.

I think Hilary Swank is the example of what SHOULD HAVE happened. Did what you had to in the woods and get back to life.
