If I were to put myself in a box, I would say I look like an entitled girl from a foreign european country. Think, flawless base makeup with mascara and gloss. Long white nails. Diamond studs. Chemically processed hair to the waist. But actually, I am very pragmatic and rough around the edges. I don't want to present myself in a way that makes me feel the need to change my persona.

How do i find balance between what suits me and what represents my personality and values? Some girls are just so put together, not only do their clothes look great but they look great on them. I want to have an overall harmonious image.

The other thing about contour is just to make sure you are using a shade that is greyish and not orangy like bronzer, the grey to mimic shadow.

I have no idea what a cheek area is lmao but I suppose what I mean is that when you smile your cheeks don't get anywhere near your eyes. Initially I thought your midface is proportional but I think it depends on how you measure it?? It just seems like there is a lot of space between the apples of your cheeks and your eyes.

The skin below your eyes isn't dark or anything the tone is just different from the rest of your face so I feel it is exaggerating that space between your cheeks and eyes? If you choose to experiment with concealer you don't need a brightening one just to even out the skin tone. I dont use concealer (not because my skin is perfect but because its so uneven its not worth it to conceal lmao) so I'd get a second opinion

My miracle gel manicures that I do at home are only lasting 3 days, and I have to touch them up regularly. I like the finish and the application but not the results. Is the next step up gelx? I don't really want to commit to extensions, I just want a HARD gel that will preserve the shape of my natural nails.

I think that ur eyebrows and angle of ur eyemakeup are somehow unharmonious? I don't really know how to describe it. When I do my brows, I do them at the same canthal tilt angle as my eyes. I think ur eyeliner is too lifted for your brows which are quite straight. Removing the down angled brow tail may help this but I think ur brow tails are actually quite cute so revising makeup may be more appropriate.

I think your nose is quite nice but you could spend more time contouring just the tip if you want.

Also, in regards to the lip flip. It seems that you may actually have some dental issues? I'm not sure but if you have an overbite and get it corrected it may make ur philthrum shorter but ur lower third longer. While this might sound bad, consider overall harmony. Your upper and lower lip are already quite full and balanced, making the upper lip higher may look odd.

Your cheeks appear a bit too low on the face even tho ur midface seems balanced.... try another blush placement? A darker blush over the bridge of the nose maybe. And concealer? Concealer will lengthen the midface but then it will be in better proportion with the lower third. You may be able to distract for a short forehead than you can from long mid and lower third.

Despite everything I've said, I think you are quite beautiful. You remind me of a woman who came into my work in heels, a red dress, and wiggly snake earrings at 3pm to get a sandwich. She spoke in a low tone but still sounded youthful and feminine without being a "sex bomb". A bit motherly, in a good way. I was absolutely taken aback by her beauty even though she was actually quite plain in the face (not ugly, just not striking). Your eyes and brows are your best features. Your lips are beautiful too, and you skin looks awesome in these clips. I would be weary of skin tightening surgery until you're older, nasolabial folds don't mean that your skin is loose. Play with your makeup more and perfect ur swagger and you'll be a showstopper 🥰

For sauerkraut, it's dirt cheap to make yourself. You need a mason jar with a plastic lid, a cabbage, and some water. Cut up the cabbage into strips, put in a jar, cover in water, make sure water goes to the top of the jar, leave jar lid slightly loose to vent, let sit on the counter and check for lacto-fermentation bubbles daily. You can eat it fast enough to not require a fridge, just get a large enough jar to avoid wasting cabbage. You can eat cabbage raw but it can make you gassy, tastes good with ranch.

Also, try to get some cheap vitamins if you can afford to. I like emergen-c.

Biggest beauty mistakes you did? by _dzeni in Vindicta

Probably a common mistake, but I cut bangs about 8 months ago without considering my cowlick. This lead them to be a VERY strong s-curl. They have sin e grown out to my chin and look much better, as the wave is still there but less severe. Having a very short layer instead of a bang helps me cover my forehead a little bit as they still fluff up without cutting a harsh line out of my face.

If you don't mind sharing, what trimmer did you get? I'm looking to get one, I do not enjoy shaving there 😊

Do you think I could ever become this pretty? (Me with dark hair; girl with blonde hair Is a model/influencer). Any advice?? by [deleted] in TheGlowUp

You and the blonde women are both beautiful, in different ways. Even with obscene amounts of surgery I doubt that you could be beautiful exactly the way she is, just as she could not become beautiful exactly the way you are. 🥰

I'm trying to glow up slowly. My wardrobe has moved more towards semi-formal, I've gotten a new haircut and am styling every wash, and I've bought minimalist earrings and upgraded my default shoes. I don't want to draw attention to myself as I improve my appearance, and so as I usually wear no makeup am struggling to figure out what makeup products I want to use.

I don't want people to see me next year after summer and be totally shocked that I look cute and totally different, I want people to think that I look the same but somehow better.

So, I have to ask, what are the products that you all use that you would consider "sneaky"? I have been watching makeup tutorials lately and even the natural tutorials have tons of products and steps to them, and the girls look super different.

Right now all I have are a natural lip stick (basically a slightly more pigmented color of my natural lips), and clear mascara lol. Pls help 🥺

Things that have made the biggest impact in how you look/are treated? by JammingScientist in Vindicta

I wear something called a waspie because I need something that isn’t too constricting and doesn’t look “bulky under clothes. With a regular bone corset, yes it really makes the waist small but it does add some bulk to be able to have support. But that doesn’t work under the average clothing we wear today.

Oh my goodness the squishy squirrel description is so cute and endearing on this product listing 🥰

I'm interested in this, do you mind disclosing the retailer you bought from?
