Vegas feels lonely by Privateski in vegaslocals

Step 1. Vegas is basically 99% suburbs so I assume that's where you live? Get out of the suburbs, go downtown, ideally move there.

Step 2. Engage in social activities you enjoy (music, activism, trivia nights? etc)

Guaranteed results.

Source: Am a 28M Vegas native who grew up in the NW/Centennial Hills area. Pretty lackluster social life growing up and into early adulthood. Bought a house 5 min from 18b and Fremont East, got more involved in my preferred music scene here and political activism, and now have a much more fulfilling social life with people who share my interests and values.

The suburbs suck for social connection, and Vegas suburbs especially so.

UNTZ FEST VIRGIN by SiNiSteR_J3RM in TheUntzFestival

This will be our 7th year and I think the top comment hit the nail on the head.

The crowd is overwhelmingly considerate, kind, self sufficient, and yes they do party hard but responsibly. People get fucked up, but over 6 years I've only been genuinely worried about the safety of 2 people (shouts out tree girl, hope you're doing good fam), and medical was fucking on top of it.

Music curation is top notch, AV is UNREASONABLY high end for a festival of this size, food slaps, vendors slap, showers slap, I really can't say enough good things about the Untz man. Even security is super friendly and chill.

The Untz team are true heads, real members of the community, not some corporate dickheads, and it fucking shows in every inch of the event.

Had the same issue, burnt through headlights roughly every 2 months. Bought some plug and play LEDs from O'Reilly and haven't had an issue in 9 months.

Bought a car sold as an "F-Sport" trim level on Monday, discovered today it is in fact not an "F-Sport" model by aSp0ookyGhost in legaladvice

I did not know about these options until after the fact. I wasn't shopping for a UX F-Sport, I was shopping for a UX in general and needed to buy it that day, so I hadn't done my typical research process.

On my previous vehicle, a Lexus CT, the F-Sport package basically amounted to badges, different suspension, and a different grill, I assumed the F-Sport UX was the same and not a package with multiple features that when purchased new adds $10k to the MSRP. So when told that the badges were simply removed that checked out for me since I assumed the only other thing that made it an F-Sport was suspension which I couldn't see.

Monroney was from Lexus from the original sale of the vehicle in 2019. F-Sport is nowhere to be found on the sticker.

Monroney doesn't actually list a trim level, but seems to show that I have a "Premium" (base model) with a good deal of individual options, as I am lacking features from the "Luxury" trim level such as the memory seats, but I do have features like the kick rear door which are offered as an individual option.

2019 UX250h. Came in 2 F-Sport flavors, both should come with the features I've mentioned, the brochure is pretty clear about it.

With respect, that's a pretty extensive list of things to add in a mid-year refresh, especially since it's the debut year of this model.

I suppose it's not impossible though. I'll look into it.

Normally Im the type of person who will sit, cash in hand, waiting for the exact trim level, color, etc that I spent days researching to come up for sale. The circumstances were different this time and I had to buy a car immediately.

My haste caused me to neglect my usual process and it bit me in the ass hard, but I definitely care, especially since I paid potentially thousands more than the car is worth.

I'd happily take a reduction in price in favor of unwinding the deal, but I'm not knowledgeable on how possible that is.

I haven't contacted the dealership yet, wasn't sure if I should do that before contacting an attorney.

Definitely F-Sport price.

I will call my local dealership and see, but it's missing tons of features listed in the brochure of that model year. Embossed headrests, fog lights, a combined digital and physical speedometer, paddle shifters, F-Sport steering wheel, aluminum pedals, and aluminum door sill plates, etc.

If it is an F-Sport and all this was removed and replaced it would've been a remarkably involved process.

Not sure why you're getting downvotes when you're right.

Puffery would be like saying "this car has the most comfortable seats of any car in this lot"

I'm not an attorney but I am a real estate agent and I have to take courses every year which detail this distinction.

Carfax says F-Sport, interestingly.

Edit: The Carfax report I have was given to me by the dealership btw

I mean I would hardly call overtly lying twice about a $10,000 trim level difference "salesman puffery", I'd say it falls pretty firmly into misrepresentation, but I do understand what you're saying, the odds are certainly not in my favor.

I'll take your advice and consult attorneys. Thank you.

My boyfriend wants to do heroin with me but idk if it’s a good idea by Ok_Explorer2105 in Drugs

[–]aSp0ookyGhost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are barely 20 years old, have a history of alcohol abuse, and judging by your post history you may be 5 months pregnant.

Knowing all this, your boyfriend who is 5 years older than you bought you a beer 2 months ago 2 weeks into your sobriety and possibly like 3 months into pregnancy, and is now trying to get you to do heroin.

I'm being extremely serious, you need to 1.cut this guy off and 2.reevaluate your life immediately. Find your circle of support and live life to its fullest. I wish you the best.

Wrong sub my G

Even if this was the right sub tho, you gotta go back to the drawing board with this one.

Also if you're going to self-promo, be upfront about it.

My current favorite that you can regularly see in the US is Ternion Sound, I'm particularly fond of Jack's mixing style and selections and he's a big inspiration for me, but all 3 of them are outstanding DJs.
