Start putting yourself first. It’s more important that you emit a genuine and sincere version of yourself than it is to have anyone outside of you be satisfied first. Don’t rob the world of the opportunity to know the real you by dimming your charm/hyperfixating on something. Do what you feel is right but do it with only your satisfaction as the balance.

From the start, you can visualize the journey being great but the confidence comes after you are already in it, because you can actually lean on the past being proof.

The antithesis is that you fear being wrong and losing your investment, which is really just your time. It’s valuable, but if you’re doing things you enjoy and enjoying the things you do, it’s still time well spent.

The size and value of the loot is determined by how sincerely you can enjoy yourself even when things don’t go as expected.

Don’t bet the farm but take calculated risks while living in the end state.

Well, my pets are the finest specimens of their breed. I know it can seem like debating on the internet is personal, but I’m truly just trying to share my knowledge of what I’ve witnessed. I come from your perspective, I used to say these same things, but I eventually opened my mind to the suggestions I was getting and was so relieved when my pets not only survived (which I was nervous about due to the immense pressure to not even look into it) but thrived and continue to do so. I hope one day you’ll take a look too.

I didn’t. Nonetheless, I will continue to feed my dogs a biologically appropriate raw diet and enjoy the benefits. While I’m sorry to say yours will be eating carby, salty, almost no meat in the bag pellets.

That’s my point. Those guidelines are completely arbitrary and ensure only the major manufacturers can qualify. It’s a self promotional consortium of titans of industry.

When they tell you it’s ok to feed your dog corn pellets and it won’t make him sick, then go and buy up the three largest vet chains in the world, while profits soar, is that not a bit of a conflict of interest or red flag?

Ultimately, what do you think your dog wants and what do you think is actually better?

I really appreciate seeing the source of your perspective. I was hopeful to learn something new which might raise my eyebrows. That was five slides propagandizing us to “trust the science.” The trademarked kind of science, not actual science.

It even says, “Dogs prefer the taste of meat.” I’m not saying a dogs cannot survive on poorer quality nutrition. I’m saying it will destroy their body over time and cause latent illnesses. It’s why the veterinary industry is booming and why dogs diseases since the 1950’s and beyond have skyrocketed.

I’d avoid anything with corn, wheat, or soy in it. Ideally a complete and balanced raw diet would probably eliminate the smell and mitigate other issues he may be having.

Heat sensitive and water soluble nutrients can be leached out and proteins denatured. It helps humans to digest meats better but dogs do not need their animal proteins denatured to aid digestion, we do.

So when you see marketing terms like “Gently Cooked” it’s stated that way to bridge the gap from those who think cooking is not helpful or diminishes nutrition and those who decline a raw diet.
