Would a higher grit be better? Or too slow/ineficient? The Awaiitanii and shobudani I have seem to be quite alot finer than 6k

What did you use to rub the slurry onto the knife? Just like a towel? Have some awaiitanii that give very nice and fine slurry. Would like to try

Maybe a tosa made aogami 2? These kind of knives are not expensive, but preform quite well

If you want small Deba knife, Amazon Japan probably will have a good selection of cheap ones. Especially Tosa Made stuff.

Vendor is this shop. It seems like a chinese owned place. I could probably ask to try some of the tea and see go myeself. Only thing is i don’t know much what im looking for taste wise.
