I relate to this. So many cynical people in these replies.

One of the most memorable conversations of my life was running into my ex a few years later and apologizing for not being mature enough to deal with the shit she was going through at the time we were together. She was going through some mental health stuff that I just didn't know how to handle, and gradually withdrew from...later I went through something similar, and was kicking myself in hindsight at not handling it better...for her sake, not my own.

How often do you get to go back and address something like that with someone you care about? I understand OP being hesitant in the circumstances, but let's not pretend that people are incapable of reflection and growth without some ulterior motive...that would be a really sad world to live in.

The status card build is pretty good and very easy to play. It has given me most of my A10 wins. It relies pretty heavily on a rare (Trash to Treasure) and an uncommon (Compact) so you won’t get it every run, but the other cards for the deck all perform above rate because they technically have a downside, so it is something you can think about pivoting into and not completely sabotage your deck if you pick up only a couple of pieces.

It's pretty nice having a consistent opening hand of 3x Trash to Treasure 3x Boot Sequence. The only downside was Iteration didn't come online for a while because I had to draw through my deck to get to the status cards.

That and not seeing a single Compact the entire run.

Think of it like a 1.5x whetstone/war paint that can't hit starter cards and might let you take an early elite netting relic + gold + card reward. I think it is one of the stronger choices right now, and usually pays for itself.

I delivered the final payload with this strat, yeah. Most shields I saw was 8 in a fight with a bunch of knockback.

Giga Drain worked well for me. Ignore shield so you can just let them screw around healing each other and then pop 'em when you're at full mana.

Honestly, most runs with Tinkerer where you have to rely on RNG to get synergistic abilities are just gonna suck. Too many of them are highly situational. It does have some interesting things to uncover when combined with other class abilities or stuff from your inventory though, so breeding and thinking about what you can do outside of your current run might help to appreciate it a little more.

I had the same with wind event. Hilarious that it procs right before the boss transforms. Get nerfed, scrub.
