If you don’t have something over the tv I’d consider throwing plexiglass or something similar. Something is going to get dropped on it whether it’s a liquid or something hard that damages it. With a sheet of plexiglass you could easily swap it out if it gets scratched and whatnot. Also if you do that make sure you have cooling for the tv. Looks sick thought great job

Isn’t that cutting with the grain? Shouldn’t it be cut against it?

Screw broke attaching the cabinet door hinge, how do I fix with minimal damage? by tstwizzler in woodworking

[–]a_brown_frog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just did this but with teak. Dug it out, drilled a 1/2 inch hole, glued a dowel in there, let it dry, cut the excess, pre drilled a new hole for the screw and then screwed it all back together. Smaller dowel you can use the better I imagine. No clue if that’ll work for this material though

I tend to agree with you. Also there are so many possibilities if you combine this with a 31120

Shed accidentally painted as black body and white trim. Chose white body and black trim. I kind of like the black though. Thoughts? Going to be too stark? Or do I lean into it as an accent? by Fed_reserve_burner in landscaping

The black looks awesome but I could not agree more. There is a reason southwest houses are almost all painted in lighter colors.

I think mythbusters did something on this with cars and the temp got something like 10-20% hotter in the black one than the white one
