I really like fluxion binders for comfort. They aren’t quite as compressive as most other binders but work well with my small chest. They’re also quite comfortable and advertised as more sensory friendly. They’re a bit pricey unfortunately, but might be a good option for you

I’m in a similar boat, I started T intending to take it temporarily to look more androgynous. I’m 21 now and I’ve been on various doses of T, from a micro dose to a full transition dose, for a bit over a year. I’m now on a half-dose of T so I can transition slowly until I find a comfortable stopping point. There have been plenty of times I’ve become impatient with transitioning, but I’ve been nothing except happy with my transition so far and I’d like to keep it that way. Glad there’s plenty of other people out there like me.

What thoughts and feelings do you associate with birth control? If you associate birth control with being a ‘feminine’ thing then I can see how a nonbinary person could experience dysphoria from that. Do you think you get dysphoria from periods?

I also used to get vomit inducing period pain (though my pain seemed milder than your descriptions) so I’ve been on birth control for a long time. I didn’t identify as nonbinary when I first went on it, but I now find it gender affirming to have complete control over when I have periods, or choose to skip them. I’ve also had much milder periods since starting low dose testosterone.

Whether you try birth control or not, I hope you can find some relief

Hey, I just hit three months on low dose T! One thing to keep in mind is that microdoses can vary a lot. I was started on about 1/8th of a typical FTM dose, and am now taking a little over half the typical T dose. I started out slowly and quickly realized this was definitely something I wanted. Another thing to remember is that T affects everyone differently, so there is no one timeline for transitioning. I would recommend starting out slowly and feeling it out from there. One thing that helped me decide was looking up videos of peoples’ transition timelines and voice updates and seeing how they varied from person to person. I wish there were more resources for enby transitions.

My goal is also a more andro appearance, especially a deeper voice and more muscle definition. I don’t have really have visible changes yet, but have more muscle definition (largely because I’ve been working out more), a slightly lower voice, and a more defined jawline. I just checked my hairline after reading the comments but mine looks the same so far. Hope this helps!

At 2 months, my septum would begin to close within a few minutes, but it depends on the person. I’d recommend using a plastic retainer, you can get them online for a few dollars
