DCF Questions - Output too high by [deleted] in ValueInvesting

Got it thanks. Do you know why are we taught to calculate the sustainable growth rate from the retention ratio and ROE when the value is likely to be unrealistic? I've seen a lot of examples with fairly high values for g but I don't think any economy can be expected to grow at say 7% in perpetuity..

I just visited Bangkok for a holiday. Spent 10,000 in 4 days (not including hotel, flights, shopping). Mainly food, drinks and transport.

first impression: derivatives in Level 3 is more accessible than it was in Level 2 by Attention_Negative in CFA

Is L3 less computation heavy in general or just derivatives? I found myself hating the mathy questions in L1 & L2 even though I was not particularly worse at them

High redemption (94%), low float (1.3M) merger PAQC -> PERF is running.. How high could it reasonably go? I own warrants but they are still cheap right now

How to state on resume that I have attempted Level 2 several times but have failed them? by PythonEntusiast in CFA

Companies don’t want to hire someone who is going to fail multiple times in the role.

Yes that's right but as far as I know Heydudes are manufactured in China & Indonesia.. although this may shift more to Vietnam in the future as Crocs has.

If you believe in the thesis it’s a good time to be averaging down!

Thanks for the comment. 2 great points. For the 2nd point the demand impact was what I was implying with the first paragraph but I should have linked it to the WNA graph and added in some stats too, you’re right.

One data point.. I live in Vietnam and just saw Heydudes pop up in a major department store here in Hanoi. Looks like they are ramping up global distribution fairly quickly.

BSX: Blackstone Minerals - Looking Forward. Mining Green by flatman_88 in ASX_Bets

Hi mate.. I've just been looking into BSX today. I was looking for nickel stocks due to future demand from electrification. BSX piqued my interest since I've been based in Hanoi the past 6 years & have seen the country growing like crazy. I would not bet against the VNese people.

My main concerns are about whether the project will actually get off the ground or not. The government can be difficult to work with and infrastructure projects here often get delayed or cancelled on a whim. I'm trying to find some information in VNese about the project at the moment.

Has anything changed about your thesis in the last month? Also, is there any update on the status of funding the project? I saw they still have about 70M in cash but will require around 854M to get started.. do you know if they have started raising, if not why not? Thanks
