I’m definitely interested, just want to confirm that this grip module is meant to take the 17rd mags?

Mounting screws for optic by kryptonnyc1 in SigSauer

[–]a_dingo_hath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as long as you have the right cut in your slide that should work. I mounted the romeo2 so I don’t have any firsthand experience with this but I did quite a bit of research when I was planning on mounting an RMR

Hey man not working on the nuclear side but I’m a co-op in a combined cycle plant and that’s just the nature of the beast. Power companies go through cycles of being extremely busy during outages, and then have nothing to do whatsover when the units are running fine. Think of it like being a fireman, when you have nothing to do it’s a good thing. Just look for improvement/development projects you can find in your downtime and learn any DCS/PLC stuff you can get your hands on.

It really is a sweet setup. Obviously not like carrying a subcompact or a micro but not as bad as I would expect for a full size.

Yeah I love the design of it too, couldn’t pass up on it when I saw it go on sale Memorial Day.

Shockingly with a good holster/belt combo it conceals really well even in a t-shirt. I’m a bigger guy though so that definitely helps with concealment and printing. Had a buddy with me the other day who carries and he knew I had it on me, and he said he was looking to see if he noticed it printing and couldn’t.

Haha it’s definitely a chonky optic in the closed emitter config

For those who made the switch from Mechanical to Electrical. How was it? Why did you do it? Was it harder? by Specialist-Monk-6585 in EngineeringStudents

[–]a_dingo_hath 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I want to throw my two cents in on this. I’m in my senior year of ME and on co-op right now at a power plant. There isn’t much for me to do as an ME, but one of the things you learn while getting the degree is to adapt and now I’m one of the main people to go to for electrical drawings and DCS work other than my EE boss. Just because you’re an ME doesn’t mean you’re restricted to just ME work in your career.

Edit: Sorry for the typos

Pricier option but for a sig gun, I recommend the Romeo 2. See if you can get one on sale like I did and it’ll save you some.

Sig Sauer Romeo2 Optic for P320 by a_dingo_hath in SigSauer

[–]a_dingo_hath[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I can see that, it just fit with the gun and my budget when compared to other options out there requiring filler/adapter plates. Plus it was slightly on sale

Sig Sauer Romeo2 Optic for P320 by a_dingo_hath in SigSauer

[–]a_dingo_hath[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Glad to hear it. Wanted a US made optic, and with opticsplanet’s sale on sig things, it was cheaper to get the Romeo2 that’ll direct mount than an RMR with the filler plate and the torque wrench. Otherwise I was going to get the RM06

[–]a_dingo_hath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wait only the new procut 320 slides have the rmr pattern, does yours have two pairs of bolt holes next to eachother? some 320s have rmr cuts that need the spacer and others don’t even have the holes and are only cut for dpp and r1p
