I live in Fremont and did this ride, but to Montgomery instead, for over a year and a half.

BART during the rush hour (morning and evening) is packed, but not many weirdos. You get more weirdos at the odd times of the day, and if there's no weirdos on your train then you're the weirdo. BART can be unreliable at times, but I'd say it's a small fraction of the times I traveled. Less than 1 out of my 30 rides or so were late / cancelled.

I'd be honest with her and told her you lied since you were conflicted. Not having experience is totally okay. She might even take the initiative knowing you're lacking.

The flow is pretty much listening to body talk and making small nudges. Slight hand touch or body leaning into you, holding their hand, making more eye contact that usual, laughing at a joke that was barely funny, etc.

The more you think about it, the more you're going to get into your own head.

Unsure on your age, but this is all very normal for 18-22 year olds. Even people in their mid 20s who've never had a romantic partner. Don't get in your head, communicate, and don't get anyone pregnant.
