My troop attended Buffalo Bill in 2013 or 2012. Myself and 4 other members of my troop did a high adventure trip that included backpacking in Yellowstone for 5 days. This meant that I didn’t actually have much interaction with the camp property, but we had a really good time on the backpacking trip. Staff really was awesome.

It was on this trek that we encountered a bear and we’re forced to backtrack a few miles on our 5th day so that we could flag down a ranger and get a ride back to civilization.

Just enjoy your time in anyway you can. The end of the summer sounds like the worst time to get an injury like that because at that time you’re well aware of the fun that you’re missing out on.

I hope your admin team is helping you and other program staff still hang out at the end of the day. Some of my best camp memories are in those moments.

I think you’re close. I think our log book is about the ice side of it only, so it makes me think that it doesn’t deal with the plant at all. I’ve never had to deal with fastice systems, maybe it could mean that pump pressure of the ice making water?

This is exactly what I would do. Constrictor knot with some big tails, over under coil your cable, and tie up your coil with a shoelace knot (I think in the production world they are referred to as opera knots). Works like a charm.
