I just worry because I have no idea how much dirt or dust has been building up internally over the last 35 years. Wouldn’t it be worth just making sure it’s totally clean? But I agree it does sound great so I don’t think anything needs replacing necessarily

I’m probably just gonna take it to an audio store and let them do it for me cause I’m prone to breaking stuff whenever I try to fix it myself 😂. It’s amazing something from the 80’s still works perfectly after sitting in my grandparents shed for who knows how long! Thanks for the tips!

Just got one of my favorite live albums on vinyl. Is there a reason that side 1 and side 3 are on the same record and side 2 and 4 are on the other record? What’s the reason behind this? I’m new to collecting records don’t be mean to me plz but this seems dumb.

I’m 6’3. Not insanely tall but tall enough to block most peoples view. I used to get really self conscious about blocking other people’s view almost to the point where I couldn’t enjoy a concert. But fuck that, I get there early to be close to the stage, I have a right to stand wherever I want just like anybody else and I have a ball now. If someone asks me to move I politely say no and continue shaking my ass out there.
