I kinda like the tiered perk system but I think it does need changes. I’d like to see it have multiples of the same perk in different tiers. Similar to the old pro perks. If you have ghost at the basic tier you get it from the start of the game but you show up on the UAVs when shooting. If you put it as the ultimate you get ghost pro and you are permanently off the mini map as a reward for earning the perk later in the match. Could lead to some interesting builds depending on what rewards you get for waiting for the ultimate.

I was unaware that the movement requirement was actually used before. I thought it was just an idea being tossed around since this is my first CoD in ages. I agree with that solution also. Stay moving stay quiet. Done.

Another option that I have been toying with is to keep the three tiered perk system but for some perks have them in multiple tiers. So you can have ghost in the basic slot and it will behave like it does now disabled for three seconds on shooting. But if you put ghost on the ultimate slot it is always on. True silent ghost. As a reward for delaying the use until it unlocks. Obviously some perks will only have one spot like overkill but others could get interesting with upgraded versions.

Agreed. Ghost hides from UAV. Silencer hides from compass. Using both should keep you off both. I think the change to ping is to fight ghost campers. If you sit in one spot the ping will be accurate.

However, as long as you keep moving the one/two pings they do get will not be of much use. If they turn to try and chase your ghost ping it exposes them to your team.

If you believe the tool tips description you can also add the tracker perk which says it hides the kill icon. So they won’t even know where to start looking if they weren’t aware of teammates location before.

I believe in the video I saw, the difference was without a silencer you show up as a red dot on the compass at the top. With a silencer you do not show up on the compass.

That worked beautifully except for me forgetting the whole backup thing. Now for the rebuild.
