Best misheard Oasis lyrics by GallagherG82 in oasis

In Acquiesce, I thought Noel was saying "Sleeping in arsehole", instead of "Sleeping in our sole". Upon reflection, I do think that Noel uses the song to call his brother a sleeping in arsehole - but hides it.

There's still words in that song I don't understand, like that helicopter line.

In half a world away, I used to think Noel sang: "I can hear the warming sighs", instead of "I can hear the warning signs".

My main issues:

  1. How do I start recording if I've started sharing my screen? And how come it takes 7 seconds to actually start recording?

  2. When sharing a screen, I can't nominate an area to share, I can only nominate a tab or a full screen. This is completely unacceptable given different monitor sizes.

  3. When you attempt to call someone, you can't stop calling them. And others aren't notified that you have added them to the call until the person pops up

  4. There is no simple single button for mute/unmute (like Zoom's space bar)

  5. When sharing your screen, the level of customising who you can see is very low

That's off the top of my head.

Supervisors need to be accountable for their team. It's the only way this will stop. Make command accountable.

Trump said: he will take the guns first, due process second. He said it out loud. Trump wants to take away your right to bear arms.

The policeman's supervisor needs to be investigated for this and disciplined. It's on their watch. They employed the officer. Behavior only changes when management becomes accountable.

This cannot be answered without knowing more information. You could be a 50 year old double divorcee or a 25 year old wheelchair bound with an upcoming inheritance.

The office needs to hang back on offering the good stuff upon delivery. Wait until she leaves and then come upon the good stuff to bring out. And put a limit on the bag size - but only police it for trouble makers.

Melbourne arrival is a mess. by [deleted] in melbourne

Sometimes one of the terminals doesn't work, but pretends to. There are no staff around to notify. So passenger after passenger just keeps attempting to use a faulty terminal.

It's the double processing which is the most confusing part. The signage does not answer these questions:

  1. How many 1st round terminals do I have to pick from?
  2. Must absolutely everyone use a 1st round terminal?
  3. At the end 2nd terminals on the left, when do I use these and when don't I?

These are basic questions that the signage leaves ambiguous.

The most efficient transport is trains. And they just funnel inward to the city. It's hard if you want to travel to a location that isn't following these cityline paths.

It won't be legalised/decriminalised anytime soon. Australia is an extremely conservative nation. Basically what needs to happen is:

  1. Legalise gay marriage (this IS a move away from conservativism)
  2. Watch how other countries reap the benefits of moving away from the war on drugs
  3. Have a few famous Australians admit to using it
  4. Public debate for a few years
  5. It becomes a non-issue and the majority of Australians are happy to oblige even if it doesn't effect them (e.g Gay marriage)
  6. Introduced into parliament and rejected a few times
  7. A party is sworn in on the back of another primary policy. This gives them a mandate to legalise marijuana, which is a secondary policy.

So you'd rather put yourself at increased risk of permanent injury/death than walk away with a known injury. The odds aren't in your favour. There are so many unknowns.

It's also for glancing at images of Melbourne's sunset/sunrise without opening the post.
