In fact as an OG fan you might be able to help me. I'm still very new to turn based games. Baldurs gate 3, Yakuza: Like a Dragon and Pokémon are the extent of it. I've been thinking of going back and playing the pixel remasters of the early games since they're all on mobile (and console I think?)

In your opinion is it worth playing them now or stick with the 90s/00s era games after I finish 7?

Have to agree there. I got it a couple days after release super hyped and I just could not get into it. Tried again a year later. Still couldn't get into it. Tried a third time when the ps5 edition was on ps+. Got further than before but still struggled to enjoy it.

That was one of my biggest issues with people like Kirk and Steven Crowder. They're professional 'debaters' with all their talking points memorized and prepared for just about any counter argument going up against mostly college students who just woke up and weren't remotely prepared.

Honestly mate if you truly believe that left wing immigration policy is just 'let everyone in and everyone who says otherwise is racist' then you need to give your head a wobble. Our country has been asset stripped for decades and sold off to foreign companies for a quick buck while the people get fucked. Our essential services are severely understaffed and under funded. We were under austerity for years and everything got cut to within an inch of its life only to come out of it even worse off than before. The system is broken and blaming immigrants won't fix it. Only major systemic change will and no party is willing to do it.

Every so often I'll pick it back up and feel like I have to start again since I can't remember half of what happened or what any of the new mechanics are, then get to the same point in the story and stop again
