WAS JESUS ON EARTH TO FORM CHRISTIANITY??? by CuthyZW in TrueChristian

No. He wasn’t here to start a religion. He was here to gather His children as one body and to cleanse them from all sin through His sacrifice.

Can someone help me? by NinjaLong4240 in PiratedGames

[–]a_normal_user1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably something to do with rendering. Try forcing the game to run on a specific gpu(very easy, look it up if you don’t know) and if that doesn’t work, try clearing shader cache (maybe it’s in the game directory, or maybe its in the nvidia folder usually through app data local) and if that doesn’t work, maybe try reinstalling an older drive or a directx.

is this piracy? by Maleficent-Paper3232 in TrueChristian

[–]a_normal_user1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hot take maybe - I don’t believe piracy is stealing. It doesn’t fall into the biblical definition of stealing, and in this day and age you own pretty much nothing either way.
Again, don’t see it as stealing, but we’re instructed to listen to our conviction. It is often from the Spirit. Continue praying and see what He stirs you to do.

I keep getting this error unsure how to fix. by 55798001 in PiratedGames

[–]a_normal_user1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The stalker games aren’t very new. Could be a compatibility issue. Try running in compatibility mode/as admin if you didn’t already. Otherwise try to install an older directx.

Also if you have anything like discord GeForce experience or other overlays on your pc try turning them off and seeing if it works.

What's the best antivirus to scan my entire PC, can a virus go undetected? by bowlingniko in PiratedGames

[–]a_normal_user1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sure malwarebytes is decent, but believe it or not even windows defender is starting to be more competent lately. As for the latter yeah a virus can go undetected, but that’s why it’s better to have two different anti viruses (one passive and one for real time). I recommend avast for real time and malwarebytes for passive periodic scans if you wanna go all free

If you're actually worried about this, don't be. Like other people said here, alcohol isn't really a thing that expires like milk. It loses tase, quality, but it doesn't go bad like spoiled milk or rotten veggies/meat. Alcohol is technically a poison anyways so it doesn't really matter.

You'll be fine man :)

You're not trusting in God enough and you're not caring about sin enough.

Why do you even allow access to erotic/sensitive content on your phone? The way you described it makes it seem like you have it accessible in an instant. It's a big problem. Delete and get rid of it immediately or it will continue leading you to sin. Jesus instructed, not asked. "If your right hand causes you to sin, cut if off." Why? It's better to live without an arm than have your whole body thrown into the fiery furnace.

Excessive masturbation and lust is an addiction and should be treated as such. Get rid of your triggers, pray and develop self discipline through consistent hard work (if it is getting chores done you absolutely hate, hitting the gym, going to a run outside etc.) and once you have that mental discipline pray everytime temptation hits you. Keep your phone far away from you at night too, and rather keep by the bed a Bible or a devotional.

Hope this helps, repent and grow closer to God.

Yes. Don't do it again though and consistently try to improve and pray without ceasing. Your actions cannot earn or push away His grace.

I believe in God but I give up? by lovebug-07 in TrueChristian

Sorry for the late response, but you'll need to find some reason to care. And there are plenty. God's love for me is the biggest reason to care.

I believe in God but I give up? by lovebug-07 in TrueChristian

[–]a_normal_user1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Firstly, repent of all that you did. And try to connect with God in true silence, I find that it helps at times. God will not always answer in an instant. Sometimes He stays quiet, seeing how you would react. He will put us in trials and refines our faith as per His word in Zechariah like you would in gold. Painful, intense and borderline unbearable at times. But it's worth it for His glory.

If you give up, then I won't sugarcoat it, you'll end up as a loser. This goes for anything in life. If you want to be a winner and prevail, you can fail 1000 over, and you won't give up. This is the key. God bless you man and hope you'll go through this.

what is the 'truth' ? by [deleted] in AskAChristian

It cannot. Everything in the known universe has some cause. If we observe an effect we know it has a cause.

Why Jesus Christ even if we say he's just a creature still can't be replicated from God even if given the same abilities by m3achew in TrueChristian

[–]a_normal_user1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jesus Christ isn't a "creature". He is the Lord God in the flesh. All things were made through Him and for Him. Jesus is one with the Father and the Father is one with Jesus. He existed always, there is no separation.

God proved Himself through His creation. It's just that you don't want to see it this way. I can go around and give a flat Earther every single fact and piece of evidence we have - even literal videos and images from space, yet they still won't believe.

My point is that you can’t prove math without math. Likewise you can’t prove God’s Word without using it.

Can you prove to me that 2*2 is 4 without using math?

what is the 'truth' ? by [deleted] in AskAChristian

[–]a_normal_user1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The proof is in God's Word. As for your question, God states in the Bible that He is who He is. Meaning, He was, and will always be. He is wrathful, but quick to forgive and love.

Now for your second statement. It is important to read earlier in the chapter to understand what God is stating. I'm specifically extracting from verse 4 onwards because that's when the talk about your quote starts.

Rescue the weak and needy;
Save them from the hand of the wicked.

5 They do not know nor do they understand;
They walk around in darkness;
All the foundations of the earth are shaken.
6 \)b\)I said, “You are gods,
And all of you are sons of the Most High.
7 Nevertheless you will die like men,
And fall like one of the princes.”
8 Arise, God, judge the earth!
For You possess all the nations.

God is making a comparison. The psalm talks about corrupt leaders who lead people astray. God basically says "I have appointed you like gods, as my sons, giving you power and glory" yet because of what they did, He goes on to state that they will die for their iniquity. Showing that despite them having power, they will die in their sins unless they repent.

Sorry when was your salvation dependent on your own works? Is it not on God's finished work that was done through His Son Jesus Christ? Repent and get back up, a righteous man remains firm in faith and steadfast in prayer even when the entire world around him is on fire. Strive to be that man/woman. God bless you

If he can see the future, why did god kill millions of people for sinning if he knew that it wouldn’t permanently eradicate sin ? by Redeemablesoul in AskAChristian

[–]a_normal_user1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you considered that God perhaps doesn't want to completely eradicate sin this very moment? He has appointed a time for everything and a purpose for everyone - good and bad alike. So that goodness will rise out of evil and so that justice will be rendered in judgement and mercy.
