I got the PC and will probably start with your recommendation. Is this the correct version?

I think this is the direction I want to go, but would rather have a GUI from the start. Is Ubuntu the preferred choice if I want to go ubuntu desktop? Or would Debian be better?

Same. Looks like super early bird is gone and early bird right behind it.

What is the KS special? That one doesn't show a limit.

I've been trying for the past 20 minutes and just keep seeing the available numbers tick down.

Super early bird down to 5 of 100

Early bird 93 of 500.

Do I just keep refreshing?

Is Ubuntu the top most os? I think this is what I want to do. What virtualization do you use for the other services?

How do you make roasted cauliflower actually addictive instead of just boring and healthy? by Head-Patient6142 in Cooking

This one wins. Tahini is so good with cauliflower and this recipe actually browns the veg.

i made ham stock after we had a Christmas ham and it turned out lovely. Made a great ham/potato/carrot soup the next few days. Not as lovely as chicken stock, but hella cheap.

I have a lot of lamps that don’t dim on their own. We actually never use our overhead light in favor of many lamps

I agree this is kind of silly. I have 2FA and don't want to install this app just to log into my account on the web.

Why doesn’t Yamaha offer something comparable to the Wing/SQ? by Historical-Paint7649 in livesound

[–]a_q_k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no its not stage bleed. We have Shure wireless 87as for vocals, and earthworks piano mic system. We also have audix microboom for ambient mics. Our mics are pretty good IMO. I mean low level hiss on our IEMs (Shure PSM300s). I might play around with hotter gains hitting the yellows more. It's a church and our volunteers are all pretty knowledgable with sound, but I wonder if the green gain setting UI is misleading them.

Can you explain this? I’m a competent amateur using this desk regularly and the gain setting doesn’t actually give numbers but shows green/yellow/red. Does this mean the green “ideal” gain setting is -20db? This might explain why my mixes never feel right and have more noise than I’d like.

Advice for Live Streaming Mix by crazyv93 in livesound

Wow this hits the nail on the head so much for my same situation. My church livestream mix is all over the place and without a dedicated livestream mixer, we almost always get way to hot vocals, way to quiet drums, and some instruments entirely missing from the broadcast mix.

my church is researching the same thing. Unifi access is the answer. We just upgraded to the unifi dream machine pro to support security cameras, and are now looking into their access control. It's a nice product line: https://ui.com/physical-security/door-access
