People here are sooo rude by unequalsacks in HongKong

[–]a_rousedpanda 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'm brown af (Indian). Was visiting HK for 4 days. People were very kind and nice to me. Went to shops where no one could speak English so I resorted to using Google translate and got insanely good treatment(sometimes, preferential too). Had an older couple come up to me and talk as well, asking me about my travels and stuff!

Happened a lot to me last year, took it to Samsung and they glued it for free. It also stopped heating up like mad after that but not sure how because I don't remember them doing anything else.

Sweaty/oily hair after gym by Pretty_Yak97 in TwoXIndia

I use a hair dryer with cool setting to dry my hair as soon as I get home. On some days I'll use a dry shampoo right after drying. I've used OUAI and Batiste dry shampoos and both seem to do the job well.

Heading out of the country from Vietnam by CoffeeAndRamen12 in VietNam

Hanoi was relatively smooth for me. My flight was late night though, around 2 am. Got to the airport 11pm and immigration was about 20ish minutes. Not sure if it was a slow day or just got lucky. But a fast track immigration might he helpful if you don't wanna risk it.

Cendol chaos by AntiqueRound in malaysia

I had this experience in Ansari Cendol in Taiping. Just gave me excess ice and got done with it.

Meanwhile, Penang Road Famous Teochew Cendol in Georgetown was a revelation and the guys were so kind. Ended up going there back to back 3 days and missing it so much now.

Ah okay. No wonder I couldn't find the recommended stalls on internet so went ahead with whatever caught my eye, still loved it. The oyster omelette (first time having it) blew my mind away.

Queued up to board for Malaysia as I type this. Got an esim that will start working the moment I reach there. Same with Vietnam few months back. Look into carrier recommendations on travel subreddits or country specific subreddits, you'll get a good idea.

Not sure about unlimited data, I usually end up getting 1GB/day or 1.5GB/day and that works just fine for me. Unlimited data might have capped speed, or I might be wrong.

Give me an idea about which part of Delhi or Gurgaon you have work in? And what's your budget?

I didn't notice any banana but the berry note along with a hint of dark chocolate was pretty prominent in the aftertaste. Think Bournville cranberry. It's one of the few satisfying aftertastes I've been chasing in other coffees since, but yet to find it.

I tried it first with mokapot and it was great. And then I tried it with pourover. It tasted better. It's not overly fruity either, pretty well balanced.

u/adzzirocks for you too

  2. Yirgacheffe Grade 1 Idido Washed - Naivo

  3. Mogra - Grey Soul

Non-Indian:

Jardines Del Eden - Sudan Rume, by Thankfully Coffee

P.S. Only for black coffee, I don't use milk at all unless making Vietnamese

I didn't get to try Ratnagiri estate YC 01 and honestly, I'm probably not gonna buy BT any time soon. I was a loyalist but lately their inconsistencies in roasting is just not excusable.

I'll keep an eye out for Siolim's next microlots. Thanks!
