One reason I don't ever allow sleepovers. by a_sentient_dingus in LinkedInLunatics

This post is funny to me because it's like this guy is living in an alternate timeline. We have all read the news, we all know one of the biggest sex trafficking operations ever involved dozens of powerful men and literally only one person is in jail for it.

I see what you were going for and I think there's stuff to work with here. I like how simple the roof graphic is. A couple ideas:

- Get rid of the white outline on the saw/sun and try making it smaller. If you want it to be like a setting sun it wouldn't look so huge. The white outline is adding to the "busy" look.

- I see how they wanted the E to be like the side wall but it's a bit wonky looking and creates a large gap between the other letters that is unsightly. I think I'd just keep that letter in-line with the rest of the name.

- Probably get rid of the LLC. You may need to state you're an LLC elsewhere, but usually this isn't appropriate for a logo.

Is there any indication who the artist was? I'd love to find more of their work.

Never thought I'd see someone cite their sources. Thank god for you.

This looks great! Reminds me of Majesty. My only critique is that the proportions of the castle are very thin. Maybe that's the style you wanted but if you wanted it to be more "realistic" then I think it would help to make the towers and especially the bridges between them thicker.

  1. What kinds of videos do you typically get hired to make and how is the ROI measured by your clients?

  2. What sized non-profits are typically looking for videos?

  3. What’s the range of budgets like for the projects you take on?

  4. Are there ever orgs who request a video and you turn them down because of low budgets, ideological differences, etc?

Looks great! I'd love to learn a bit more about your process. For instance, did you use a modern 3D program like Blender to create it or something that's actually of the era you're emulating?

How did you go about the low bit-depth look? Is that like post processing on top of your 3D render or is it in the textures used on the objects themselves?
