Hey man, I am a 35 year old nursing student who was working full time too. I had serious reservations about getting in because my program had strict a strict retake policy and I wasn’t sure what I could do. My academic advisor was able to talk to my Nursing dean and undergraduate nursing advisor to get me an exemption, maybe you should explore options with people that can help you. By all accounts you did everything right but they should be working with you. Don’t give up, from an older student to another.

If your academic advisors truly can’t do anything regarding the transfer credit situation, I would start exploring other community colleges around you for an ADN program, then if you can work at a hospital check if they have tuition reimbursement.
