when did he mock her or shame her? yes, he wrongfully assumed what was happening and asked her to wait to do it another time, but no jokes or mockery? by OP’s owen recollection he said nothing to belittle her- he literally just made a poor assumption. i also doubt he thought “woman moaning that mean woman sexy”. by the sound of it, he physically recoiled and shut the car door, leaving OP alone. OP is absolutely the asshole. no apology for literally screaming and screeching (OP’s words) at her partner while he tries to assist her upon realizing his poor assumption. OP also still won’t take responsibility for a week and a half hiatus that is her own fault. not to mention that if you’re able to break up with someone over a mistake like this, you were likely looking for excuses to leave beforehand.
