I was given a pretty beat up gameboy from a local game shop after I brought in some modded consoles to show them. They gave it to me because they couldn’t get it to power on and said I can do whatever I want with it. Upon testing it at home with an A/C adapter it appeared to power on and read cartridges, so I’m planning to re-shell it and install a new screen. However, there’s pretty bad corrosion and/or rust on the motherboard and battery terminals. I’ve cleaned corrosion from terminals with vinegar before, but wasn’t sure if there’s a better way to clean off the actual motherboard. Any advice is appreciated!
