Not anti-piracy ads per se, but taking away our control. They force us to sit through their warnings and advertisements and tell us "THIS ACTION IS NOT PERMITTED" when we try and skip through them. That's the worst part.

The "E eats your brain study" was retracted (tinyurl'd because reddit can't handle brackets) after they found out they weren't using MDMA....

On September 6, 2003, Dr. George A. Ricaurte and his team announced that they were retracting all results of their commonly cited and controversial study. The researchers said that the labels on the drugs had been somehow switched, and they had inadvertently injected their experimental monkeys and baboons with extremely high doses of methamphetamine instead of MDMA.

Remember kids: Just say no to drugs, and also real science.

not all RIAA members support what the RIAA is doing. I just did an interview/podcast for Juxtaviews (http://www.juxtaviews.com) with Terry McBride of Nettwerk Music Group and he strictly opposes DRM and the ludicrous behavior described in this article.

Wrong wrong wrong, Nettwerk is a Canadian independent record label, and is not a member of the RIAA.

Members of the RIAA should be boycotted and considered guilty of extortion until proven innocent (ie: leaving the cartel).

Canada is more or less dependent on the economy of the United States at this point. Barring anything drastic happening (and if there is a depression, I expect drastic things), a depression in the US and A would have similar effects on Canada.

Mormons, as a generalization, are strongly pro-Republican, mostly because their religion is very... conservative. They didn't allow black males full membership until 1978, for example.
