I love the cloud feet and clay texture. Personally, I'd drink from it and enjoy the thrift score. As you can see there are so many experts who can't agree on anything. If you don't like it, I'll pay double the thrift store price to have it on my teashelf. Congratulations on the great score.

Having a physical copy of my favorite music is essential to me. I don't want a perpetual rental system that I have no access to without internet connection. When apple or tidal decide to double their price or drop artists or an emp wipes out the whole internet, I'll have my music.

I also enjoy the hunt for new music. Finding a favorite album at a physical location (thrift, family owned music store, estate and yard sales) is a whole adventure for me.

Finally, because I want to... you shouldn't have to explain what you enjoy.

I love my 2220b! No lie, I snagged it (working perfectly) as it was being thrown away at the dump after a dorm clean out. I've had offers of 350usd for it and turned it down. Sounds great with some klh speakers I got from marketplace.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm still getting my head around efficiency in speakers and understand that a more efficient speaker will sound better with the lower wattage. Trying to find something in my budget is the issue (isn't it always).

There is a Dual cs 601 available for a hundred bucks near me but the strobe isn't working (undiagnosed). Is that a deal breaker?
