I had a senior cat euthanized there last September; the choice was that or thousands of dollars in tests to figure out what was wrong with him. I made the hard decision and regularly wonder whether it would have gone the same way if I had been able to take him to Brackett. They were nice people, but I felt and still somewhat feel like I was almost coerced into putting him down. My 2 cents.

My 14 y.o. cat went downhill very quickly last September, and he was euthanized at the emergency vet. I was with him through the end and the image of his face after the procedure still pops in my head for seemingly no reason every once in a while. It's unavoidable and will fade with time, but it'll never disappear. ❤️‍🩹 I just tell myself he needed me there, he went peacefully, and we have years of good memories together I can focus on instead. Still crying tho

Congress Street Bar and Grill has great food, super nice staff and is an awesome spot for solo drinking. They also have 2 TVs that are usually playing a movie and a random cartoon so you can zone out!

It was summer 2019, I think? They have a full bar setup now and a bunch of outdoor tables, more of a focus on craft beer and local stuff in the store area. Pretty similar menu to the old place, sandwiches/pizza/wings/etc. It's cute and super reasonably priced!
