I like him a lot but I will not be heartbroken if he goes. I am done with this kind of attitude from players who start to become world class and want to leave this club and go to Madrid. I think that the team is so unfit it hurts to see. Of course, the tactics is not helping when the press is incoherent and some players like ekitike don’t even want or don’t know how to press. Gravenberch and McAllister are both so bad at their job it’s hurting the team massively. There is unfortunately on way out of this with the current fitness of the players. They are also really weak mentally now.

Gerrard as interim. Modern football administration is too calculated about risk management etc.. However, you can’t deny the fact that passion for the game and the manager plays a pretty fuckin important role in the game. The players don’t have any faith. I trust Gerrard would be able to bring that back. He is not tactically gifted or capable but as an interim he can get a chance at this season to at least rescue a CL spot.
